Yesterday I decided to tune into the Today Show to see their opinion on some of the important matters that we have been following such as the White House Leaks, the Fast & Furious Congressional Hearings, the DOJ suing Florida for trying to clean their voter rolls, or even Joy Behar wanting to burn down one of Romney’s houses. All items I would have expected to be covered in the first half hour of the show, when they cover politics and the hottest stories. I was greatly surprised when I saw them covering the following stories in this order, The Jerry Sandusky Trial, the arrest of George Zimmermans wife for perjury, followed by headlines none of which were the above mentioned, and they finished the half hour with the safety of rental cars.
I know we have talked about the mainstream media supporting the liberal left in the past, however, the extent of them actually covering up the real issues to protect the Whitehouse and the Democrats is despicable. The actions we are speaking of regarding the White House leaks amounts to treason and for them to not mention any of these items makes me continue to question them as a credible news outlet. If the Republicans were behind any of these issues, NBC and the Today Show would pounce on them.
What we did see them cover, for weeks at nauseam, was the John Edwards trial. After two years of investigations followed by a 2 month trial that turned in only one guilty verdict out of six counts on the indictment, I realized that the Obama administration and his DOJ lackeys made Edwards the scapegoat for the Democratic Party and they did not really care about the outcome of the trial given the fact that they announced today that they will not be retrying him after the mistrial. It also shows how the Democrats are willing to waste taxpayer money to try to protect their own interests. They are clearly willing to create diversions in order to accomplish what they want behind closed doors and how the media is willing to help him.
